And I
I could try
But waking up is harder
When you want to die.

Fucking Christ...my tap class should NOT have me in tears.

It's not that I'm totally retarded; I'm just not a dancer and I need shit broken down rather slowly, and then I need time to practice it. My teacher doesn't seem to understand this.

Three more months of school. I think I'm going to die of apathy.

No your tap class should not have you in tears, but good on you for going! Don't worry, most dance classes move too fast for me and I am a dancer. The whole point of being in the class is that you don't know what you're doing, right? Keep it up!
musicshapedhole:
It may not mean much, but if you want, I'll come on down there and punch your teacher in the face.

I'm good intentioned, I swear.

I'm with you though. Tap should not produce tears. However, the fact that you even tried to pursue it makes you my personal hero for the following 72 hours.

I [heart] opioids.

I also [heart] Aaron Kraten. The man is a fucking genius (never mind that he's a buddy of the FunctionalBoy's). I've got this as my desktop right now, and I think it's a very accurate depiction of how I feel these days.

National Talk Like A Pirate Day approacheth at rapid speeds. ARRRR! ARRR!!!

So tell me, darlings, when you've filled up...

I just stack more books on my shelves. Right now I have four or five bookshelves that are overflowing. They are packed along the back and then have stacks of books in front of those. The only other thing I have done is to take a bunch that I won't get to in awhile or won't need and I have them in boxes in my closet. Then I go out and buy more.

Hmm. I just realized that usually at about this time, I'm at Nocturnal Wonderland.

And then I thought about it some more and realized that I'm okay with not being there this year. Last year it didn't even happen, and the year before that was horrid because my companions were being wretched, and the year before THAT was when I dropped E for the...

Another lovely weekend.

Went hiking again (no, I shan't inflict the photos on y'all this time) for about 3.5 hours, a good portion of it uphill. I'm now sunburned in some very odd places, like the backs of my calves, and along my hairline. (Also managed to talk FunctionalBoy into giving me a superfabulous foot massage later that night. biggrin )

And you, darlings? What have...

I'm in seattle, it rocks so fucking hard. I imagine my experience so far would have demanded a catholic horror filter change several times by now due to clogging...

what kind of gigs do you play,i never noticed that before...
bombshellbetty:
I want a foot massage! *pout* I've been walking all over the city this week. Hours of walking every day. It's so beautiful walking over the bridges.

If you wanna be a rockstar, you should join the Dollz on a European tour. I've felt like such a rockstar at those shows! Thousands of screaming audience members... Well, sometimes. There are those shows and then there are the ones that only have 20 people show up at. But those are rare.

You convinced yet? Should I start sewing up a wolf costume for you?

Jeebus H., could this weekend have been any better?

a) quality time spent with FunctionalBoy, to include things that would be obscene to mention in mixed company blush

b) paychex out the wazoo (and it's about bloody time) biggrin

c) new set from Lucille eeek *reaches for heart medication*

Hope everyone else had a lovely weekend as well.
papawheelie:
not a bad weekend at all. very low key. I'm going away to seattle over labor day so im saving up party credits until then...
bombshellbetty:
Yay, I'm glad things are going so well! It's good to hear good things are happening for you. And thank you for the kind words about my birdie. kiss

Working for a church really limits my options for body mods.

Oh, and in case you hadn't gotten the memo, there is absolutely nothing glamorous about cocaine.

bombshellbetty:
You just need bodymods that can be covered by your nice sensible, church-going clothes. And no, there's nothing glamorous about overdoing anything, including cocaine and especially the Day After. It's especially odd to watch people who are supposed to be good friends go at each others' throats over insignificant amounts of the stuff! Gimme a break!

I hope the weeks getting better for you, sweetie. kiss and hugs.

Could you just imagine if Jesus were into piercings and tattoos? That would definitely make things such as Catholicism much more interesting...

Think he'd get a tattoo of a heart that reads "Mom"?

Have I mentioned recently how much I like Percodan?

my ulnar nerve in my left arm still isn't working. been 8 months...

my weekend was dynamic in that the ups were way up and the downs were way down and they were shifting at the drop of a hat. like waking up in my favorite girlfriends bed all swoony and blissedout but only for a minute before the phone rang and someone told her that her parents were in a terrible accident. stuff like that.
bombshellbetty:
Hi sweetie, I saw one of your posts somewhere, and I just wanted to say I'm sorry about your uncle. *hugs*

No, I'm not dead. No, I haven't relapsed and gone on some huge drinking binge.

HOWEVER.

I have my FunctionalBoy back, and everything is sugar and spice and everything fucking wonderful there.

And I have a new car, and holy good goddamn do I love it. love

i wish i had a new car instead of my 15 year old heap o crap. i just had the fuel pump replaced and you know how much they charged me? four hundred and seventy-two thousand dollars. does that seem high to you? i thought it seemed high.
papawheelie:
nope. not a K bike. I generally have old stuff....my BMWs are '71 and '72 but the bike I'm working on this afternoon is an old triumph
