I don't want to go back to Schwab-Ass JC. I'm taking a music-reading class this semester.
"But FunctionalGirl," you say, understandably confused, "aren't you already a musician? Isn't that how you make your living? Haven't you been reading music since the tender age of six?"
And I pat you on the head and say, "Yes, dear heart, the words you speak are the truth. But there is an evil agency of evilness that we call the Bureaucracy of the State University System (TM) and they are the ones that are forcing me to take non-major-level fine arts courses to fulfill their heinous general education requirements."
"Well," you say, losing interest already (short attention span that you have), "that's hella lame."
And I smile ruefully and agree, "Yes. Yes it is."

It sucks that you have to take classes you shouldn't for general education requirements. I managed to bully all my professors into not making me attend those classes and still get the grade.
I couldn't wait to be done with that crap... then again I didn't show up for a great deal of classes.
