Art show was great! Check out this guys shoes, he was cool as shit, with a dread in his bread that came to his wang. ( Thoseshoes.com ) I think next year I will have a booth at the Midway art fest. It's only like a 75 dollar fee for booths and my new art, is pretty fucking amazing. Well I dunno I take such pride in it that it's almost ridiculous lol. I want to do a painting of the picture I did of my buddy. I just did them on paper but I have some canvas now so, why not right?
I have been eating the BEST Arab food. I have also been cooking a lot of it. Arab salad with tahini (sp?) yummm .All in one night we had... Chicken skewers (marinated in yogurt and lemon), Lamb, Shrimp, steak, weird hamburger thing (they make it wwwaaaayyy different in a sausage shape, with arab bread and their sauce [ yogurt, cucumber, seasonings]) 3 different types of fish Salmon, and two other white meat fish, I dunno. arab salad, Way different green beans with a bunch of stuff. Corn on the cob, homemade hummus. An american cake with a ninja turtle (guess who drew that??) and " Bac-lava" They pronounce it that way. I had never had it warm and homemade. OMG it was sooooooo good. That was our birthday bash. Delicious? I think so!
Tim Krekel was one of my best friends father who died. He was big around here, and Nashville. Made a few grand a month from his music career. (Google him) It even auto populates.. They had a parade for him (seriously police shut down the street) and had the biggest celebration of his life I could hope to see. At the Vernon. There were over 500 people ( it was always filled to the max or more) in the building and people came and went all day. there were lines out side the door. Several live bands and a bowling ally upstairs. Before you even ask YES I went sliding down the lanes on my chucks. For a good hour or so with my friends, and my little boy. Tried sliding on my stomach, doesn't work. As soon as you get to your knees you stop. He was a good man, with a even better voice. he will be missed RIP TIM KREKEL I can't even begin to imagine how hard life will be for your family.
I am going to be going to Dubai in a few years, and hopefully turkey.
You'd never guess all the people I have in my family, only being a little white girl.
Sorry this was so long, I have a hole in my leg that needs stitching (damn doctors) and I had to get ready with hidjab on to take my muslim family to the airport. It will make them more comfortable to feel that I would also be looked at as a terrorist. hahahaha. I hate closed minded people.

Glad you're cooking, I think it is a lost art in many respects. Indian cooking is one of my favorites.....mmmm potatoes.
