The mid became the south after the dams gave out
the sky cried and took away the ground
and we all fell down
to our knees
on the few dry streets
slidell is gone, gulf shores too,
I'm doing fine, how are you?
and the more it rains, the more things change
and I know it'll never be the same
Old Lake Pontchartrain
is Lake New Orleans
and bodies float by
like crick filled with leaves
and through all this mess
the rain, fire, and death
I just want one thing to be made clear
why isn't the Army here?

Me? yeah I'm ok trying to get stuff done but it's like the pate-spinning act at the circus i just can't seem to get them all to spin at the same time

I had some good momentum then I lost it after the interment- it just shook me up- but I'm determined to get on so this week wil be better , I like my new work colleagues they're pleasantly human but due to these new-fangled ways of working I only see them once a week if that otherwise it's all electronic communication.
