My son has pneumonia. He had to go to the hospital last night and get some IV antibiotics and fluids, so he's feeling much better now but he's still really weak. I'm gonna get him a present tomorrow as well as some new paints and stuff so we can chill and do some art together. Poor baby. Being a mom is so hard. I can't worry him better. I can't do anything. I can't fix it, and it drives me crazy. I was at work last night while he was there, and my mom was with him. She called to let me know how he was doing and said he had to get some bloodwork done and be tested for Kawasaki's disease because he had some of the symptoms. My husband had it as a kid and almost died, and they don't know if it's genetic yet, so I totally freaked out. Thank God he's negative, but it'll still always be in the back of my mind. I will always have to look out for it.
Just for some background info, Kawasaki's causes heart disease in children, and most of the kids who had it in the beginning had heart attacks and died. They thought it was caused by exposure to carpet shampoo, and now they think it's related to a virus, but all those really amount to are guesses.

The memorial service for grandpa was today too. It was nice. Surprisingly with all this awful stuff going on I still had a good day. It was cool to see the family and hang out, even with the unfortunate circumstances. My son wanted to stay at my parents house tonight, so I miss him, but other than that everything's okay.
Tomorrow the guys are coming over to watch the game, and I'm gonna make chicken enchiladas and then paint with the kiddo. I'll probably jump into the poker game afterwards and lose all my money as usual. I have been having dreams about winning at gambling lately though, so maybe tomorrow will finally be my day!
There's alot more to say, but I'm tired so I'll save it for now. Tomorrow I'll drop in on all you guys and see how you're doing.
