Did you know that restaurants close early on holidays? Well sushi restaurants do. I had no idea MLK day was so important to the Japanese. My hair took HOURS and so by the time we were ready to go eat, everywhere was almost ready to close. We ended up at Chili's, LOL! That's okay. I don't really like Japanese food anyway. I just knew my friends would like it, so that's why I picked it. Of course, my "friends" ratted me out to the hostess, and an entourage of wait staff came to serenade me. As I cocked back my hand to get ready to shank my husband with a fork for embarrassing me, he started clapping and singing and doing cheerleading moves with the rest of the employees! It was so funny I decided to let him live.
OK hair update: One must be willing to take a hit when you're dealing with hair colors that run together and bleed. The streaks we were going for spread out, so to fix it, on wednesday she's going to fill in the blanks with more blue and purple. The result will be completely blue and purple hair with black tips. No blonde at all. I wasn't really ready for that, but it will look cool anyway.
On a sad note, Mike is leaving on business and won't be home until Sunday
But the birthday balloon next to my name yesterday got me some new friends! Score!

just curious, which japanese place closed early yesterday? i went to tokyo tokyo by the mill sand that place was jam packed when i was there. i don't think they had any intention of closing early either. ah well, guess it's too late for this info eh?
