I decorated for Christmas yesterday, it was so fun, but exhausting! I made 25 big cut-out snowflakes out of silver foil wrapping paper and put them up all over my work. The stage lights make them sparkly, everyone loved it. Then we did X-mas lights and what-not around the bar and VIP room like usual. It took me and my friend almost the whole shift, which was cool cuz it made the day pass quickly.
I put the tree up at home too, it kinda looks like a trashheap with all the ornaments I made in grade school, the keepsake ornaments I've recieved every year from my mom since birth, and the new ones I have been collecting for Gage for when he grows up. But I love it. Every ornament has a story.
I'm getting sick. My head's all cloudy and my throat is sore. As long as I'm better in 2 weeks, I don't care. I want to be well for Mike's party. At least I have tomorrow off now, that will help give me time to rest up. If the other night bartender keeps switching her Saturday nights with me I'll be rich AND she'll owe me favors for later!! Maybe I can get New Years off again!
