So I want to go to graduate school. I want to go to graduate school at my old college. My college's board of regents has decided to cut funding to the literature (my major) department due to money problems and the fact that people don't give a shit about literature. Because of this, the department isn't taking any new graduate students.

I've e-mailed several professors in the department and no one can give me a straight answer about whether or not they will be accepting any new grad students next year. So, in addition to hunting for a girl and an apartment in which to have sex with her, I also get to start looking for new colleges for the first time in a long time. Top of the list is UNC-Chapel Hill. I realize that this is a long shot, since I'm not very popular and most people don't bother to read these things, but does anyone here know jack shit about that school? Anything at all? Hell, I'll settle for the name of a good bar.
