Went to the memorial service for Nick, my friend and coworker, last Friday. It hasn't snowed here for a month and that evening it dropped a ton. So much that a couple of people I know couldn't even make it to the service. Weird, weird stuff.
Anyway, afterwards, me and all the people from work went to a bar to toast Nick's memory, share stories, and catch up. I think that having a great time like that was just what Nick would have wanted. It felt like he was right there with us.
