Hope everyone had a Happy Christmas and a Merry New Year! 
New Years for me was... interesting
I went round a good friends of mine for their New Years party which has become so much a tradition, that people now assume they're having one even when they're not. (Disclaimer: I had the good grace to be invited).
I polished off a bottle of Jack Daniels, with the end result of me being "merry". Unfortunately, me being "merry" meant I spent a sizable portion of an hour being sarcastic and being poked in the foot by a cocktail stick by a redheaded girl sitting on the floor for my trouble (Not sure what that was supposed to achieve).
Also, the topic of erogenous zones came up. And I naively thought the most important erogenous zone for a woman was the brain... Foolish me! Consider me told.
Anyway, the new year is always an exciting time of change and refreshment - so naturally I'm going to be optomistic for at least three more days.
Then I'll be going back to work next week, I wonder how long before that spirit is killed.If it's anything like the Jack Daniels, I'd wager less than twenty-four hours.
Ho hum! EVERYONE BE HAPPY! YOU ARE ALL AWESOME EVEN THOSE OF YOU I DESPISE (except the "Hodgesis" - you're just despised).
