So on one of our days at Niagara Falls, we decided to go over to the American side for a few hours. We had been staying on the Canadian side, b/c there's more to do and see over there. So one day we walked across the bridge to the American side, and got over there just fine. on the way back though we got held up at the Canadian customs because the guy wanted a second form of ID from me. All I had was a driver's license which is all one is supposed to need. So the guy wanted a second form of ID, which I didn't have. then he took a few deep breathes, asked again if we were definitely leaving when I said we were. Asked if I was definitely born in the USA. and then grudgingly let us go.

What the FUCK?

The guy didn't even punch my name into the computer. If he did he would have seen we came through the customs checkpoint a few days ago in my truck.
and while I may infact have the light brown skin as many terrorists do, I know I look American.
and dammit, if I was a terrorist hell bent against America, why the hell would I try to get into Canada??

dumb as customs guy looked like he was about 12 years old...
