i'm in the process of moving to the new house. i spent the weekend painting the living room. it's friggin' awesome. it would be even better if it had furniture.
anyway, the time that hasn't been spent packing and hauling has been spent watching the first season of punky brewster (see profile pic above). i had forgotten how sad the first few episodes were. poor kid was abandoned by her father when she was a baby, then dumped at a grocery store by her mother.
another interesting tidbit: i think chris farley borrowed his "maniac" bit on tommy boy from punky brewster. she can be seen doing the same dance while singing "maniac" in several episodes.
oh, and there is also a flash of soleil moon frye's butt crack in episode 13.
