japanese arcades seriously must be just as good as going to the gym. buttons and joysticks are totally obsolete and thats probably why american arcades never do well. but they would do BETTER if more of them had games like THIS:

this is "Mazan: Flash of the Blade" and its the coolest arcade game ever (that ive played anyway). the movie theater near where i live just got this in their lobby. its sort of like those gun arcade games but with a SWORD. you swing the little plastic sword (i actually just used my arm) inside that red arch and the on-screen sword moves along with you! and not like it just senses movement and kills whats on the screen, but it actually makes you block, parry, counter, or push away enemies. it seriously is the closest thing to VR ive ever experienced. and the action is so intense you really have to have some endurance to play it. i worked up a pretty good sweat. ive never been any good at the dance dance revolution games so now ive finally found a game i can exercize with! now if only i had 5 thousand dollars (or whatever something like this costs) to buy one myself... *opens wallet, moth flies out* whatever
kade:
Thanks. My grandmother made those in the 60's. She had hollow metal poles cut into thin slices and then she weaved wire with beads inside of the circle slices. Kinda hard to explain without a step by step instructioal type thing, but you get the point.

My hair is still pretty red cuz I dyed it iver the old red, but more maroon-ish now. So, you shoudl still be pleased.

That looks like some crazy arcade game. eeek

I want the boxing one in my home. It's about $10,000 though.
