i havent updated in forever! anyway heres the latest- i work in walmart now, in the electronics section. i have greatly improved the games department, adding a "zack's picks" sub category, indicated by my own personal logo that i draw on the price tags of the good games. none of the managers seem to mind, in fact one asked "is that a good game? i was thinkin of gettin that."

conversation overheard between a mother buying a Nintendo DS and Nintendogs for her young daughters:
mom: well okay we can get these, but what about the normal game boy advance you just got for christmas?
girl: well santa made that one, it didnt cost any money we can just get rid of it.
mom: oh yeah...thats right....

another mom said to ger child in the shopping basket "close your eyes NOW we are about to go down the music isle!" the child did so, and the mom proceeded to fill the basket with crappy christian band cd's. as if seeing the cover art of all the rap music and stuff is going to cause the kid to suddenly rush out and buy a crack pipe.

now for toys!
this WAS a figure that i got from the loose toy case at my local comic shop. it looked old but the articulation was practically Marvel Legends quality. i have since learned that it is a character from an anime called "Baki the Grappler", this being Baki's father, but i decided to make this my first ever custom figure. the mask, the screws, the blood/infected stuff around them, as well as the cuts and the bloody knuckles are all my own doing. i tried to make it like the mask is permenantly affixed to his face, and as such hes face would be pretty nasty. like if you leave a bandaid on for a week, only waaaaaaay worse, so thats how i got started with that infected look around it (all done with fine-point sharpie) and carried that over to the screws and cuts (i used a knife so the cuts really do go in) on the rest of his body. he doesnt really have a name now.

also this is a new magneto toy, and now i dont mean this is a gay way but is that not the prettiest face youve ever seen on a toy?

lastly this is a project for fy finals in art class. the assignment was "go beyond the picture frame" we were allowed to interpret that any way we wanted. this is what i did:
