Well after talking to Cara and my sister yesterday I finally lit a fire under my ass and spent today looking for jobs in Seattle. I applied for 11 jobs so hopefully I'll get some interest this week and be able to get some interviews lined up. I am about damn tired of staring at a computer screen.

Tomorrow is September 11th, another year gone by, how are we doing?

And from the funniest blog on the internet, I bring you The Do-It-Yourself Emergency Management Guide!

Tom DeLay, soulless cock.

While on the tour of a shelter with top administration officials from Washington, including U.S. Secretary of Labor Elaine L. Chao and U.S. Treasury Secretary John W. Snow, DeLay stopped to chat with three young boys resting on cots.

The congressman likened their stay to being at camp and asked, ``Now tell me the truth boys, is this kind of fun?''

They nodded yes, but looked perplexed.

Yeah just like camp...It's just one big adventure for the kids I'm sure. whatever

George Bush, scared of black people.

One prominent African-American supporter of Mr. Bush who is close to Karl Rove, the White House political chief, said the president did not go into the heart of New Orleans and meet with black victims on his first trip there, last Friday, because he knew that White House officials were "scared to death" of the reaction.

"If I'm Karl, do I want the visual of black people hollering at the president as if we're living in Rwanda?" said the supporter, who spoke only anonymously because he did not want to antagonize Mr. Rove.

man that diy emergancy kits is pretty hilarious biggrin

it reminds me of the whole duct tape and plastic idea that was going to stop radiation and mustard gas from coming into your house

no, i didnt see any horse statues. but i only saw a small part of the city. we did see some plastic buffalo on a highway embankment on our way back from the fancy brunch. i decided that must be someone's job. to keep the plastic buffalo pollished and shiny just like real buffalo.
