Hmm from what I can tell things seem to be getting worse, not better in New Orleans. There is very real risk of New Orleans becoming a breeding ground for water-borne diseases. I'm sure good things are happening, but it seems so dark right now.

The offers of help surely outweigh the negative sentiments but the fact that some people can only think of themselves at a time like this is emblematic of what is truly wrong with America deep at it's core. We are truly a selfish people.
