Another day another dollar, but at least it's friday right?
Going to the High Museum this weekend. They are showing some Van Goh, Picasso, and some other stuff. Should be interesting.
I went to go see Meet The Fokkers, which was so so. Our product was in the movie, but I'm afraid it may be viewed as a senior sex aid. It wasn't as funny as the first, not even close, but I think the first was kind of hard to follow. I give them an A for effort. Dustin Hoffman stole the movie.
I watched Dodgeball the other night also, which was ok. Ben Stiller always cracks me up. Vince Vaughn also, but he needs to watch it or he'll become the new Tim Matheson, always relegated to those cheesy comedies like "Hot Dog: The Movie" always playing the older, wiser leader of the pack of young fuck ups who always seem to pull together and win in the end.
Watched the Manchurian Candidate also. Good movie. Denzel Washington is pretty much good in anything. I never saw the original though. I'm curious now. Guess I'll need to rent that soon.
I'm seeing less and less original stuff come out of Hollywood. They are really reaching now, recycling the past, which sucks, because I'm sure there are some good ideas out there that just aren't being picked up because someone thinks they're lame or have no commercial appeal. It's really a drag that these days I can watch a movie for 10-15 minutes and then pretty much tell you everything that's going to happen. Pathetic really.
Anyway. guess I better get to work, got a lot to do today.
