So I went to the SGATL party last night. It was a total blast. I met so many people from the SGATL group and had a lot of fun.
I was debating whether or not to go at the last minute (sort of a misanthrope I am) but a digital shove from Llona got me out the door. Thanks Llona.
It's interesting going to meet a bunch of people from the site. Most everybody has decent pictures in their profiles and you've looked at them enough to be able to recognise them in person. You end up doing a double introduction anyway. Real life name, screen name. There were some non-site people attending so "are you from the site?" quickly got added to the mix.
I got moderately wasted. I ended up leaving at about 1:40 or so which turned out to be a good idea because by the time I got home I could feel the nods coming on. My sleep schedule's been kind of fucked up this week.
The SGATL group rocks, without a doubt. I want to thank Sue for hosting the party at his place. Nice place!
