the hommies and self helped some friends move yesterday. we were rewarded with BBQ and a full keg to be split between 5 people. we like to finish what we start, so i have been nursing a hangover all day. at one point in the evening, as we were all sitting around the keg and the grill, we start hearing these bloody shrieks from across the fence. my buddy justin and i hoped up trying to figure out if it was a joke or not. then the shrieks turned to "help me" "he's hurting me".... somehow we managed to scale a 15 foot wooden fence, landing on the other side and climb up the fire escape. there was a junkie couple up there, and the dude was beating his estranged girlfriend. we took her down and tried to calm her out as best as we could. the stupid cops took fucking forever to get there (imagine that), and then had the nerve to start badgering us and questioning our presence at the scene. so we said 'fuck off' and left. later they got one of the junkie couples neighbors to ask us if someone could come over to give a statement, because they felt embarrassed for being so curt with us originally. we sent our buddy beaux over there, because we were busy drinking. anyways, the night lasted into the sunrise and i barely got any sleep.
the end of this week should be fantastic! i have critical mass on Friday, only to be followed by a fucking 400 Blows show on Saturday! my weekend couldn't get much better, i just hope i will be able to remember it all.
oh! and i was amazed to find that there is now a 400 Blows group here at SG. go join it.
