there's a mayan exhibit at the legion of honor here in sf. i think i shall go see it. the mayan calender is so much more efficient than the one we're all on. i kinda wonder about our calender. it would make sence if there were 13 months of the year. 13 months. 28 days a piece. Maybe someone had a month named after them and was removed for....whatever reason. what the fuck am i babbling about? shut the fuck up.

The little scorpions totally glow under black light. Out in the desert at night you turn one of those things on and you almost want to jump because you suddenly see that you are surrounded by them. Kind of cool though. I like nocturnal nature.
