So. Lunch date between school and work, met Heather last night for a quick bite to eat. I ended up getting to work two hours late. (Granted, a full hour of that lateness was less due to the date, and more due to the hordes leaving the parking garage post-NCAA game...)

I really, really, really am in "like" with this girl.

I need to make sure I don't confuse the initial flush of excitement over being around someone new with deeper emotions, but.... things seem very good. I feel like, for once, a nice guy doesn't necessarily finish last.

Combine this puppy-love/infatuation with getting my last math exam score back, finding it to be 100, and finding that I'm the only one in the class running a perfect score, and I was on air for much of the night last night. Dating a hot, smart girl, out-nerding a whole group of peers who want to be nerds professionally... I'm a spider-bite away from being Peter Parker.

Life is going good, and for once, I don't mind.

Life is also changing, and it's about time.
