The good thing about not wearing combat boots any more: no one thinks I'm an industrial/metal-type guy, just a dork. The bad thing about not wearing them any more: cold-as-hell water puddles on the way into school. My feet feel like I've ridden a water ride at King's Island and then hiked for 6 hours. Damn eco/animal-friendly canvas skate shoes.
The is the first moment I've had since the party Saturday evening/Sunday morning to get online. Great time, and I think I managed to come out of my shell enough to not be quiet and creepy (the rum had something to do with it, I'm sure.) I oddly managed to lose my way-cool Swedish army jacket at the party; someone must have accidentally taken it home or something. Not like it's a huge financial loss, but hey... how often do you see Swedish military gear in thrift stores? It'd have come in handy on my soggy slog onto campus, as well. I'm freezing an' soaked.
I'll needto go through groups and journals tomorrow, say hi and/or thanks to everyone, but for now- I'm off to get a hot chocolate and find a vent to put my feet into before class.

Someone brought hot chocolate to work yesterday, and I could smell it right as she took it out of the bag. I miss that drink... I think it's time to buy me a jar of it next time I'm at the grocery store.
