More of the Stephanie thing.

I went to work to visit her Sunday evening, took lunch with her. Erika was happy to see us come into Steak 'N' Shake- we're nice customers, and tip well. Got a shake and grilled cheese, and sat and chit-chatted for a bit.

Chit-chatting isn't that bad, but I really like to get a little bit more in-depth with people. One of my initial goals with her was to make sure we became friends, instead of just leaping into relationship territory... but it seems that all we're becoming is friends. Chat about homestarrunner.com or a movie, can't get too personal, since she doesn't like that. Sets the tone for the day, sets the tone for all of our interactions.

*sigh*

Called mom up yesterday, told her about the Spanish class a bit. Finally got into the "how's Stephanie" bit, got the expected "you need to listen to your intuition" talk. I didn't wanna hear it, and needed to hear it.

I think a break-up is imminent. I wonder if it's "breaking up" when we never got truly intimate (either physically or emotionally).
