Sooo ummm...any pointers? Areas to avoid? Etc?

We can't really afford to live IN the city...so we're looking for places close somewhere in the penninsula. What do you know about Daly City? A lot of the places we're finding online are there...and it seems really nice, but again...we don't really know all that much about the area.

Any help is greatly appreciated man.

Not much fun to be said about long distance relationships.
