Thank god I'm reading the latest in the "Chicken Soup" series: Chicken soup for the idiot: A how-to guide on getting better before bbq's that happen on saturday, april 22, 2004.

Edit: Thanks to DiamondGeezer for informing me that the book is a sham. The BBQ is on the 24th. I had a feeling finding that book was too good to be true.
