So excited about the shortest work week ever! Two days of work and then heading to LA on Wednesday, Vegas on Saturday, and coming home Sunday. I guess that's one of the nice things about working as a temp employee. I can pretty much take the time off that I want; I just lose out on the pay.
I've been really considering moving on to something else. Sitting at a computer all day really sucks the life out of you, especially when you're doing mindless work. I could see if I was doing something challenging and interesting like programming or networking, but typing in peoples' names all day...
I have a lot of computer experience on my own, but not a lot of training. I'm wondering if there's a way to land something and get on-the-job training. Any ideas are welcome. Just tired of the paycheck to paycheck I guess. Maybe time to go back to school!
On the positive, I've met some really cool SG memebers like lil_tuffy and retro_active and just got added to SGSF.. so looking forward to meeting more.
