'ello you cheeky lil monkeys. Another week down. Next week is gonna kick my ass at work, Cheri (my manager) is on vacation again, so it is just me and D running the place, Chris.. some of you meet him and his GF at the Clermont my b-day weekend... is coming to help out 3 days next week. It has been nuts. The past six months we have lost like 3 or 4 managers because deposits are not being made properly, and what does my great boss do... nothing, she had 12 fucking deposits to make yesterday and we were like $400 short on cash, when you are over two weeks behind on making deposits you are not going to be able to find the mistake. D blows up at least once a day, she just pisses him off. But even with all the drama I can not help but to laugh, I love my job it is the best job I have had in 3 years and the best paying I have had in longer. I just shake my head at my boss, she is just hanging herself, and getting bitched at every single day by the regional manager. She is running the #3 store in the country and the #1 store in GA that is less than 3 miles from corp offices. The only bad thing is we are so short on managers that if she does get booted we are doomed, I can be asst manager no prob, and while I do not have that title I am doing the job since we don't have an asst as of right now, but I have not learned to place well enough to step up for that yet, hell I have only been there a little over 4 months.
On the home front... things are ok. just trying to make it on a shoe string budget. We hope to hear from one of my clients monday about a job for Chelle. It would pay almost double what she is making now and be monday - friday. And it would be working back in a design job at a printer so she would be very very happy, and it would open up to me being able to print Spacemonkey again. I love having access to printing equipment.
We are trying to get the house cleaned up and get things ironed out to have a dinner party in the next few months. Since the apartment is small we are not able to open up the doors for a large party but we are thinking a few smaller dinners, it would give me a chance to do what I love more than anything else... ok not anything else... but to cook for friends.
