dharmabox made an appointment with his knee surgeon for the 19th. it's time to find out how long he has to wait to get a new knee. i think if they offer him one this year, he might just do it. he's really hating his cane lately.

we just bought some new bird feeders and set them up in our barren dirt yard. new house, the backyard is a big plot of dirt. the last feeder we had a very large dove tried to sit on it (and had successfully many times before), but the feeder just gave out this time. Mind you, i think it was set up for finch and this guy was so big and cumbersome on it

bought a 2002 jeep grand cherokee friday. we'll go up to balto to pick it up (got it through manheim auctions) next friday and it looks like we've found a house. it's a ways out but it'll be nice to get out of the bumfuck ugly suburbs. i need either city or country...the burbs are just too middle america cookie cutter gross.
it's my job as a woman to say that.
