I just read an article about hundreds of Iraqis killed in a stampede in Baghdad and I can't even express how sad this makes me. Now I am not going to sit here and say this wouldn't have happened if the US hadn't invaded but I certainly think that this should be tallied among the countless other casualties of this stupid, unjust, horrible war that is built on lies and greed.

Anyway. These people are suffering. Their lives have not been improved by our actions. The safety of this country has not been improved or secured. All of this is such a waste. Thousands upon thousands of lives lost. Countless numbers of lives uprooted. Billions of dollars spent. The opportunity for goodwill and grace squandered. I am sick. Just sick.
