As much of a drag as it is getting up early sometimes, I really enjoy it. This morning, as I was putting out their feeders, I was surrounded by birds waiting to get some food. Two ducks flew overhead; making a bee-line for who knows where. On the ride in, I saw deer and fox. These are things you just don't get to experience other times of the day.

I wrote a song last night then promptly forgot it. I hate that. Guess I sould learn to read/write music sometime, huh?

Aaaaaand I had something else to tell you but don't remember what it was. Oh well.

EDIT: And now I have several disheartening items to discuss.

1) The Supreme Court (oxymoron) today ruled that it is apparently ok for private homes to be taken for private development. This, to me is just wrong.

2) The Feds are cracking down on medicinal marajuana in California with several sweeps occurring. Jeez. I guess it would be ok if the patients were just getting drunk, huh?

3) An anit-flag burning amendment passed in the House. Yes, again, I know. But this is simply idiotic. Makes me just want to run out and burn a flag or two. So let me get this straight... jackasses can wear fucking UNDERWEAR made up like the US flag but not burn it? Gimme a break.
