Well, apparently they got that fire under control quickly as I didn't see any signs of it when I headed home on Friday. Nevertheless, my weekend was spent doing household stuff to help keep my crib from burning down and to make it all purdy and stuff.

Took several trailer-loads of slash to the slash-dumping place. This took a large chunk of Saturday and part of Sunday. Then I planted some flowers, stained the trim on my house and the deck and went for a hike with my special lady (fuckin' lady friend). I also spent some quality time in the creek cleaning out random snags and trash that had accumulated over the winter. Fortunately it wasn't too gross in there or I would have been saddened/infuriated by the disgusting nature of man.

So that is about it. Reno 911 is funny. As is the Brak show. Motorcycle Diaries is a bit more interesting than the book. Beat the Devil was a snore. I still can't stand Bogart. The Blind Swordsman was amusing. That is about it. Call or write your senator to get the stupid nuclear option thing voted down.
