I'm just sayin' is all.

So I think I have hung up the stix for the season. My knee was worthless on anything tough at all on Saturday. I only went skiing because I had to work. Shot a Freestyle Camp. I goto the doc in a week to see what is up. Hopefully they'll have something that can help it. So my bod is really a mess right now. Toe still not completely healed. Neck all out of whack. Knee fizucked. Time for a rest.

I have been playing bass a ton which is super cool. Hooked up with a buddy's brother who is a kickass drummer and we have been jamming once a week for almost two months now. I am starting to remember how to play and am getting better weekly which is cool. We have a couple of guitar guys we are trying to hook up with consistently... no success of yet but it is cool to focus on the rhythm section stuff without having to deal with guitars for awhile. Onne buddy is supposed to be able to play this week so that will be cool. Hopefully we'll start constructing some real songs here soon. I just wish I could sing and play at the same time. Gotta start working on that I guess.

Yesterday, I was supposed to shoot the second day of that camp but it was (thankfully) cancelled. So I was Mr. Fixit and put up some cabinets in our laundry room, did some other stuff around the casa and cut back a bunch of dead willows next to the creek. Also went on a short hike with my sweetness. Good times.

Watched a ton of King of the Hill this weekend as well as a few movies. Saw was okay. Kinda stupid but seems like most horror movies are. Gave Donnie Darko another shot and I still don't understand the appeal of that movie. I have watched it several times to try to figure out the appeal without success. I guess it just doesn't appeal to me. It isn't that I completely dislike the flick, I just don't seem to get what the big deal is. Oh well.
