hmmmmm.... what to write, what to write.

am i the only person out there who can't quite understand the allure of paris hilton? i guess she is sorta hot but damn she is an idiot. and why all the attention to her sex life? from what i saw, it didn't appear to me that she was that good in the sack. and call me old fashioned, but if some rich slut that i am banging takes a phone call during the act... she is outta there and i am heading to fuckin' school. but maybe that is just me.

i am listening to tom waits right now. old old stuff. he rules. i was playing some music with a buddy of mine last night and commented about how versitile waits is. you toss him an instrument and he plays the damned thing. amazing. i wish i could do that. i am still working on playing the correct single note on my bass much less trying to sing and play any number of instuments at once.

and on another completely unrelated note: i may be in the market for a new car. anyone out there have any thoughts about the tdi volkswagons? i have always driven awd cars but am considering getting a jetta or passat for the mileage benefits. just askin.
