so. first of all, go wish Stacie a happy birthday. she rawks. \m/ \m/

this weekend was spend inhaling paint fumes. but not in the good way. _luke came over early saturday to help me tape and paint. after a few false starts (monekying with the sprayer, realizing that the paint store gave me the wrong paint and having to drive 30 miles to boulder for the correct color) we got rolling (or spraying, rather) and managed to get a solid coat on the house before running out of paint.

_luke's sweetie was kind enough to pick up more supplies and i was back at it on sunday. finished the garage, hit the house again and got about half the trim done before dark. all in all a solid effort.

when telling my parents my plans, my dad told me that he once took his 2-week vacation with the intent of painting the house. he didn't finish. so i feel pretty good about my 2-day effort.

and in case anyone was wondering... i still can't grow a beard. gave up the month-long endeavor this morning. i suspect that no one notices. yes, it was that bad.
