i must say... three day weekends are the bomb. if i was in charge, they would be standard operating procedure.

i spent the weekend kicking it with my sweetie and feeling like i was going to puke my guts out at the top of mt. toll with the ever patient _luke. i felt pretty awesome until the summit then all hell broke loose. we'll do it again next weekend. hopefully i will feel better.

watched a few movies too. here's the list:

no man's land - pretty sweet actually.
live flesh - you gotta love almodovar
the king of comedy - fairly dated but the denoument was sweet
skins - most excellent
mystic river - worse than the book. if you can believe that. the gave sean penn the oscar for the wrong movie. go figure.
and part of house of 1000 corpses - so far, not so good. just seems like a sorta lame slasher flick. we'll see if it gets better.

so there you go kiddos. in case you were intersted, i am pretty psyched about the edwards nod. hope that ticket works. if not, i have started memorizing the canadian national anthem.
