so as much as it pained me to do so, i listened to (p)resiudent jackass' speech last night. i think you know where i am going with this but bear with me for a minute.
item #1: it is interesting to me that this administration booked this series of speeches supposedly to lay out a plan for our involvement in iraq. well what i heard last night was nothing of the sort.
item #2: would it be too much to ask that the idiot in charge of our stupid country please learn to pronounce things correctly? especially places that have been the setting for horrible acts of voilence committed by our own troops? just once i would like to see a little bit of humility from the "leaders" of this country. jeez.
and item #3: am i the only one who sees how insulting it is to the iraqi people that our big gift to their country and "symbol of a new beginning in iraq" is going to be a fucking PRISON?!?!?! seriously, m(p)resident fucknuts even went so far as to say this will house "detainees" (not prisoners, not criminals, not convicts but goddamned "detainees"). holy shit. and i, for one, REALLY don't appreciate this type of endeavor being the item on which my tax dollars are spent. not when there are so many other things at which we could throw money for good.
in any event. that is my rant for today.
