so yesterday was spent shooting high-flying snow-rider types. the morning session went well with relatively blue skies. then some poor bastard got knocked the fuck out and we had to take a little break. after lunch it got gray so the footage will not be so usable. oh well.

the weekend was fun. i had to work/shoot on saturday then spent sunday kickin' it with my special lady on her birthday. good times.

my parental units are in the area for the week attempting to golf. which should be interesting since it is wicked windy for some reason. it was snowing at the casa this morning too so i am sure that will make them even less excited to hit the linx.

i have another funeral to attend tomorrow. one of my parents' good friends died this weekend. cancer again. i didn't really know them but think that it would be a good thing for me to attend. not "good" in the good way but "good" in the "support your parents" sort of way. so i have that to look forward to... which is nice.

in my ideal world, politicians would care less about getting re-elected than doing what is right for the world. and then voters woudl respond by realizing that afformentioned politicians were actually doing things correctly vs. just trying to earn their votes and the cycle would continue. yes, we might have to endure higher taxes but at least our drinking water wouldn't be polluted with lead and whatnot. i suppose i should wake up now, huh?
