ok. i am in a bit of a mood today for some reason so bear with me. i am soooooo ashamed right now to be from colorado. our representatives are leading the charge for amending the consititution to prohibit same-sex marriages. and frankly, i am pretty ashamed to be from the unites states as well... our current government is horrific. i just hope that people will rally for a change this fall and fight for change now to get us moving in the right direction. ugh.
i had tickets last night to see the burlesque tour but gave them away to _luke. i was afraid that the venue wouldn't be such a great match for me and my sweetie. i was right as the fire marshall shut it down for overcrowding before the show could even get going. really glad i didn't go down there. it would have been a nightmare.
today's limerick to come...
almost forgot the limerick:
today mister _luke needs a hug
go with haste to his journal then bug
his bad-week saddened ass
say "this to0, it shall pass"
and invert his downturned, frowny mug

It's odd that you should mention Herman's Head, as I visited a friend of mine not long ago who had some episodes on tape. It doesn't entirely hold up, but it was pretty enjoyable to watch the episode where Herman was trying to break a world record by eating peanuts.
