so, after much thought and consideration, we have reached the conclusion that the pup could not possibly have been the cause of nate's demise. it just doesn't add up. right now the forerunners are a) heart attack or b) stroke. dunno. i miss him though. he was a surley bastard to be sure but could be a real sweetie when he put his mind to it.
