now i am not a firm believer in the whole "friday the 13th" luck thing. (though i do try to keep hats off the bed.) seriously, i just have never understood the wackiness that people will put themselves through just because the 13th of any given month happens to fall on a friday. i am sure this is all rooted in some bizarre pagan ritual from 800BC but i have never been able to figure it out. it is either that or a failed hallmark conspiracy to try to sell "friday the 13th" gift sets. but whatever the origin, just beware of drowning victims in hockey masks.

*edit/update: ya know... there may be somethign to this friday the 13th bs. i got rained on at lunch so i couldn't jump my bike and then one of the tools i was using to build jumps broke in half. only a week old too!

ya know what? i am going to continue calling bullshit on the unlucky idea and chalk it all up to "shit happens", seriously.
