Ok, so I've never really liked my job. I especially haven't liked my job since I've left my museum to work in a call center. Quite frankly it sucks. Now my life is being turned upside down as my department splits. The half of the group that I like, and that my manager really wants me to go to, would be a cut in pay as well as earlier hours requiring me to get daycare of my two children. I've fought against daycare for 5 years now and have won. Honestly, I'm going to be forced to stay in the group that I detest because of money. I hate that but feel that it's selfish to choose a job that I personally like when it would cause my family to have a tighter financial situation. frown blackeyed *sigh*
We did have a busy weekend last weekend. My son was in a soccer league that he ADORED. biggrin He had a really great British coach as part of an international soccer program. He had such a blast!

The last day of my son's soccer camp also happened to be his 5th birthday. So crazy for me to realize that he is getting so big. surreal His aunt likes to experiment with making different cakes...this year it was a lego cake. smile

As part of his weekend birthday festivities we went to Washington, D.C. to visit the Museum of Natural History. The kids had a blast checking out dinosaur bones

as well as other exhibits.
The next two weekends will be journeys to each extreme of our state: the beach this weekend to the mountains next weekend. Should be excellent with lots of time off work for me. biggrin

Well, I've never read any of the Harry Potter Books, but I do enjoy the movies--the special effects are great. I'm a fan of the latter ones the most, because they're darker.

Twilight was actually the first series that i decided "Hey, i wanna read the book first for once"

And yeah, I was actually really happy with the fight scene, but I think that's all they spent their budget on frown The effects were so bad throughout the rest--really reminded me of Buffy Graphics--very bad and obvious wire work.

I didn't mean you yelled at me, I yelled at someone to shut the hell up during the movie behind me. Well more like "Would you please shut the hell up" but I was ignored. So if that was you, I apologize, and if not, I'm not sorry lol.

I hope that enough people like this one that they'll have a much better budget for the next one, then maybe it won't be so disappointing.

Also, was it just me, or was that kissing scene the most awkward thing ever? biggrin

And yes, we're feeling better for the most part smile
