Raise the flag high Bhoys. biggrin

SPL champs for the 40th time in history and its always a great feeling. Brian Quinn, Celtic's chairman, gave a rousing speech uniting the fans and taking shots at the media for shit stirring and I must say he should be commended for his comments. Well done Brian.

and of course this week the Daily Record (one of Scotland's biggest papers) comes out with a three week old story trying to unsettle certain players, the manager and the fans.

Quinn, point proven. biggrin



In terms of opening day festivities a 4-1 win over the hapless never-won-at-Celtic-Park-since-1951 Kilmarnock.

This weekend its Hearts, who Gnar thinks is the real deal...hopefully he'll be in for a surprise, but away at Tyncastle is always a tough fixture. I'll be driving up to Canada to my local Celtic Club to watch that one.

I drove down to IU today, just to check things out, get my computer and make sure the house didn't burn down or anything. I'll be heading back to Detroit tomorrow.

Oh, and the 3,000 European pictures are in. Stay tuned for a bunch and my thoughts and comments on where I went and what I did.

Tymoschuk is not really the same kind of player SP is. It is not about replacing a player, it is about getting a an amazing player! Perhaps he is getting passed over by teams like Man U and the Gunners because they think d mids are a dime a dozen. Maybe. But not d mids like Tymoschuk.

I would rather have him than Jan. I think Riordan will provide any additional punch the Bhoys need.
