GRRRRR. You know its a Friday in Bloomington when you have severe thunderstorms, torrential rain, golf ball sized hail and tornado warnings.

The tornado siren is blaring (it happens to be close to my house) and its 430. Ugh.

One has to feel so safe when they sleep 2 feet from a huge sliding glass door that overlooks woods, with trees capable of totally destroying my house.

Anyways...onto more important things



41 DAYS! 41 DAYS! 41 DAYS!

I just got my flight information, and I'll be flying from Detroit to Dublin and I'm getting in on the 25th of May. I get back on the 14th of July flying from Rome-Amsterdam-Detroit.

Im looking at probably four days in Dublin and four in Belfast to start out before moving on to Scotland although those dates are all pretty hazy now. I'll have a better outlook in about a month.

I'm going to be staying with a friend in Belfast who is going to take me and my buddies around and possibly to a Gaelic (football or hurling) game if we can get tickets. My fingers are crossed.

Should be a good time, and I'll have to represent the United States in drinking, since it seems the gauntlet has already been thrown by several people.

Anyways, I am compiling a list of things I can bring back for people, so if you want anything from Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland, England, France, Germany, Czech Rep, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Greece, Italy, Holland and maybe some others please let me know.

I've already promised Cecelia some absinthe (I'm hoping I can find some good stuff in the Czech Rep to add to my La Fee I have here) and I'm sure I'll be picking up ItasianInvasion some Celtic gear of some sort, so please let me know.

Anyone else who is in Europe at the time and wants to meet up for a pint let me know. I'll get the first round.
