First of the month *pinch*
I am completly skiving work right now to bring you this message, more so than usual as I actually have something to do right now. Nevermind a customer can live a little longer without their car. For I must blog! I despise the word blog but that is not for now is it?
Had a delightful weekend. Delightful maybe not the best adjective for it perhaps the phrase "pure drunken chaos" suits it a little better, I even have pictures of my wonderful friends and I looking like poster children for asbos everywhere.
Friday we went to Xplicit for some brilliant drum&bass. The sound was filthy just how we like it and we, well we were intoxicated.
Just a few of the highlight. Ended up back at mine and trying to scrape a couple of hours sleep before doing it all again on Saturday, this time Hive style. Was still a bit frazzled by this point and really was not into the idea of being out until one of the rooms decided to grace me with pure early 90s dance goodness. Nothing gets me going quicker than a bit of Candi Station, N-Trance or Black Box.
Just watch me go!
I think it is safe to say I ended up a little drunk again.
Brilliant weekend.
Took on Ikea last night in an attempt to buy a futon I was not very successful in my efforts but I did manage to have a bit of an arguement with an incredibly unhelpful employee who was rather reluctant in helping me in my quest for a futon. Not entirely sure I won but at least now I am armed with a number to phone in 3 weeks when they are apparently going to have them back in stock, If they think I'm going to encounter any sort of 'futon rush' for a piece of furniture they are mistaken. How a company that big cannot let you just order one I will never know! I did however escape with some pear cider and an ice tray that makes jigsaw puzzle shaped ice pieces. Just what I have always wanted and needed.
However I fear it is back to work I go. Middle of the week though, the weekend is just around the corner. The parents are soon to be home so the end is in sight and providing no crazy jobs come in it should fly by. Funds are running low however so looks like it is going to be a quiet weekend in. Maybe have a BBQ if the weather is going to be as good as the delivery men are telling me.
Anyone know where I can get a reasonably priced but half decent quality 4 man tent? Going to upgrade slightly for Leeds this year. Also need to start driving about in the BMW in preparation for the trek down to Leeds with the marvellous SJ and company.
