I had some slightly nerve-wracking but very exciting news today...my store manager spent mon-wed in Sydney for the Australasian manager's conference, and while she was there she had a talk to her friend who just so happens to be the manager at the Adelaide store about me. Basically, she's looking at hiring people now and is willing to give me a full time job on one condition...she needs to know I can sell well, so if the store makes budget (ie sales targets) for 6 of the next 10 days that I'm working, I have the job, and she's willing to hold it open for me until I get there. So all going well, I'll have the offer in 2 weeks and be going over 3 weeks after that (need to give roommate that much notice before I leave). This would mean that I'll be returning to Adelaide almost exactly 3yrs after I left it. A whole lot has changed in that time, I've moved twice, had my heart broken (more than once and not just by men) and grown a whole lot as a person, but really feel a conviction that that's where I'm meant to be.
Totally looking forward to going out to dinner with NevynII again too
