Okay.....
I've been way busy as of late, so let me briefly sum up what's been going on:
I've been working a day job as a Mortgage Loan Officer (Please feel free to shoot me a message if you are thinking about buying a house somewhere! Even if you don't think you are able to get a loan, you may be surprised at what I can put together for you!), and working on the weekends Selling kick-ass wooding combat sparring swords at the Bay Area Renaissance Festival. Yesterday was the last day of the faire, and i'm pretty damn sad about it. I got to see a lot of my old dear friends from a dacade or longer ago, and it was nice to be back with my "family" of Rennies, if only for a short while.
It made me realize just how much I miss traveling. I settled down just before getting married back in 1998, and I realize now that a lot of my angst and self-induced stress stems partially from my always being in the same place. I REALLY cannot express how much I miss travelingon the Ren Faire circuit!! I have received offers from people to come work for them, but I have to give this mortgage loan position a chance. It will allow me the freedom to take off and travel at my leisure, and will enable me to pay down some of my outstanding debts. It's just gonna be a rough road for a while.
Blondie really wants to be able to travel, so I'm going to try to work things out so that we will have the time and money to do some bouncing around this country before we have to slow down and take care of any little ones that come along =) Hehe!
All for now... to go put ice on my thumb again... it got whacked pretty seriously during combat with Maia yesterday. The joint is only about one and a half times it's normal size!!! LOL! I can move it, so I guess it's not too bad!
