Left work mildly enraged today, though. My department is back up to full staff now, but that doesn't seem to have made life much easier. Guess they've figured out just how much abuse we can take!
Career exploration might be worth a small investment of my leisure time, though. Ideally, I'd like to make a decent living without being enslaved to Corporate America, but I'd settle for a job that doesn't involve being tethered to a goddamn phone all day! And oh, what I'd give to have an easy, breezy student life again! Alas, I always have a much clearer vision of what I DON'T want than of what I do want.
Our lovely events committee has a company "tailgate" party lined up for us on Friday. This means my friend and I will have to do "Freaky Friday" again. We'll be wearing our most work-appropriate goth/punk attire and making the "Dursleys" squirm! I am inspired to show a bit of my "ass". Figuratively, mind you, but if I could do it literally and not get fired, I think I would.
