This weekend was a blast, even though it was about 20 degrees hotter this year than last! We survived the entire Pride march AND our volunteer shift in Bicentennial Park in the 95 Fahrenheit heat! I wisely used SPF 30 and didn't bother with makeup, because it would sweat all over me and look like shit. (Well, that and I'm not hip and sophisticated enough to wear MAC - unlike the Drag Queens and RedViolet. )

Ran into lots of people I know, as always. I've got lots of great friends and people to just hang out and have a good time with. That means I have a pretty active social calendar, which I love, but sadly there are always those folks you don't get to hang out with quite as much as you'd like. And if it gets to the point I feel like I'm double-booking myself, well then obviously it's time to slow down a bit.

The end of Comfest is always kinda bittersweet, because I've had such an awesome weekend, but now it's over and I've gotta go back to work tomorrow. (And do lots of end-of-month overtime at that!) It's that one time of year where everyone is fully free to be who they are and everyone gets along.

I totally need a new profile pic, because I wear specs now and even though this one looks great on my page, it doesn't look so good on the boards & stuff...
