May 20 can't get here soon enough, goddammit!
I'm feeling the stress burn from work just a bit, and it's mainly because I NEED a vacation SO BADLY! I'm going in for half a day tomorrow to work on some end-of-month invoicing, and will be staying late most of next week. With my stress level I'm totally not up for it, but I could really use the overtime pay for my New York trip!
Paul McCartney tickets for the Schott went on sale today. I just went to Ticketmaster to see what was left, and it looks like they're all sold out! Similar luck for U2 at Gund Arena in December.
This makes me really miss my shit-cool friend Kristi, who was always right on top of this shit, and always called to say she'd picked up a ticket for me! She moved to San Jose last fall. Know who reminds me a lot of her? Kelland.
Even though McCartney has in all fairness only made a handful of good albums since the Beatles went kaput 35 years ago, I am VERY interested to hear his latest one because it was produced by Radiohead's producer Nigel Godrich.
At least with the Shabby Shack Shindig, and catching up with some of my best buds in Yellow Springs eating falafel pizza, I'm guaranteed a kick-ass weekend!

Yeah, it was disturbing. But then today on the way home from class (mind you, exactly a week later) I saw a brand new mini-van covered in Insane Clown Posse stickers. I about laughed my ass off. I'm continuously terrified by the people living around me.
