My tax refund came in, so I used it as a down payment on some new furniture. Our existing furniture is so bad it's actually making me ashamed of our apartment. I've wanted to replace it, and this was my chance. (Hand-me-down furniture that a guy had in college=bad. Hand-me-down furniture that trees2112 had in college? EVEN WORSE! 
) So we're getting a gorgeous red leather sofa/loveseat, with a black coffee table and end table. They'll be here in about a month. Can't wait! 
One thing I will say for my love, though: any guy who will still tell you how much he loves you and how beautiful you are even after you've packed on about 30 or so pounds is DEFINITELY a keeper. That's what's happened to me over these past few months, and it's really hard to get dressed up and go out and feel hot and carry yourself with confidence when the outfits you'd looked so great in don't fit anymore. I suppose drawing attention to this isn't the best thing to do, but I'm just being honest. I am otherwise very satisfied with the way I look, but keeping my weight down has always been a constant fucking battle. Hopefully, I can get back into shape in time for summer.
